Dixon Lake

I am plannning a trip to Dixon Lake in late May. Does anyone have any info on this lake? How is the walleye or crappie bite at this time?

From looking at the Blue Book that Rapids Tackle puts out, you should be in fine shape for both species. I've never fished it before, but get ahold of the "blue book" at Rapids Tackle. It'll give you a good idea of what lakes were producing at that particular time the year before.

Your picking a great time to be on Dixon. The first few weeks of the Walleye bite is great. Last year was a banner year for many with an unusual amount of large fish. The crappie fishing can be great and don't count out the big gills. Good Luck
