WTB/WTT for porcupine quills

I'm looking to buy, or trade into a pile of porcupine quills.

I'd like to try little quill work to go along with my blackpowder projects.

I'm guessin I'll trash my fair share, so I'm thinkin I'd need a fair amount, I don't have a clue how many, it will all be Greek to me. lol

I've already got the beading stuff out, but I want to try porky quills.

 

I get hand surgery in a couple of weeks so I would like to keep my fingers busy, while my hand is immobile.

I can either pay cash or trade with a lot of different items, hardwood lumber, traditional archery stuff, blackpowder stuff, the list goes on and on and on. lol

 

Hit me in a pm with quantity, and price, I don't have a clue what they are worth.

I was just doin a search on the net, it's estimated that there are about 4500 quills in 6-7 ozs, I'm guessin that would be enough. lol

I could buy them wholesale online for just over $100 a lb, would rather get a local porky pig. lol
