WTT Southern Mountain style flintlock

Recommended Posts

Southern Mountain style flintlock rifle.

50 caliber, set triggers, adjustable sights, L&R lock, straight barrel.

Not marked with a maker's name, but a very well constructed rifle.

Some markings inside lock plate, and butt plate.

I'd trade for any of the firearms listed under my ad for the Colt revolvers.

May also be interested in trading for a nice gas operated 12 gauge semi auto.

I can't see the open sights anymore. LOL

I've had several inquiries on the flintlock.

The barrel is 38"s long, 7/8ths across the flats.

Square bottom rifling, 8 lands, and grooves.

The buttplate has the #34 engraved on the inside of the plate.

The #92 is engraved on the inside of the lock plate.

Length of pull is 13"s to the set trigger, 14 1/8th"s to the firing trigger.

The barrel is from Dixie Gun Works, it's a round ball barrel.

Double set riggers are from Deer Creek.

No, I did not make this rifle.

It came from Wyoming, don't know if it was made there, or migrated there.

I'd sell this rifle for $700, obo.

I could probably come up with a couple of flints, some balls, and a bit of powder to get you started.

You'll have to rip up your jeans for patch's. lol

I would be interested in trading any of my guns, or combination of guns for a custom-made percussion plains/Hawken style rifle, 50-54 caliber.

I was told that this rifle was made by a company called Golden Age Arms, they were around during the 70s.

I've had a trade offer or two for this rifle and will make a decision early next week.

So, there's still time to look around your gun safe for a goood traaade.

She is no longer for sale.
