I live in south mpls, near the chain of lakes and I love fishing for walleye but usually don’t have success from shore. Does anyone know some spots in my area for possible success and what techniques produce fish?

thanks in advance

Best bet may be trying Lake Calhoun or Bend Me Suka or what ever it is now in the evening into night.

Bring a Gun!  Good luck! 😕

Fishing the river is your best bet for walleyes on shore by far.

Your probably right. I was just going off that he lived by the chain of lakes. 👍

Buy waders, buy a small collection of jointed rapalas (fire tiger being best) and drive to the upper St. Croix River. Any access points from Rush Creek up to Snake River. You’ll catch more smallies, but walleye (and nice ones) and pike are very common also. Way better option than anything from shore you’ll find in the cities. Not even comparable, honestly.
