Hard Water expo

Blaine Hard Water Expo starts tomorrow Friday 11/19. Canceled last year due to Covid. I plan on tomorrow to pick up a new K-Drill and a few other items.

Would like to go but unfortunately I am in the middle of a 10 day quarantine. Got a positive test last Saturday. Doing fine just hate the no smell or taste. It does keep me from snacking too much though. I have spent a lot of time on line looking at ice fishing gear.

Thanks. It sucks I can’t even enjoy the taste of a cold beer or Captain Morgen coke.

Picked up the K-Drill last night at the Hard Water Expo. Ready for Ice. Turns out all augers have the same size shaft, designed around the age old gas auger. Turns out the adapters I made 4 years ago fit the K-Drill. Auger to the Ion quick release to my chuckles drill adapter to my 2804 Milwaukee 1200 ip drill. Sweet

Nice outfit. Do you have to have a half inch drill or will a 3/8 work? I’m still using my old gas strikemaster but it’s going to give up its ghost one of these years,

You need the 1/2 inch drill 750 inch pound of torque or greater. Run drill on lowest setting. DO NOT run in hammer mode. As for battery you need a 5 AH battery at minimum. Make sure you get the original Mfg. battery and not one of the cheap nock-off versions. Most of the popular drills work. Dewalt, Milwaukee, Rigid, Ryobi, Makita work well.
