Anyone getting any over the air TV station with a small antenna. I am not asking about any specific area but curious in an area from Vermilion, Ely, Isabella and the Shore areas.

Our place in Soudan is at the bottom of the Underground Mine State Park hill and we get 3 channels (NBC is the only major network) using a fairly large antennae on a 15' high mast.

Not up there but camper in Nisswa, mn.

I bought a really big like 12' foot long antennae on about a 15' pole.  I was only getting about 3 channels in but I bought one of these powered pre-amp's at Fleet Farm and now get about 12 channels and can watch the Viks again! ?

It helps to keep turning your antennae and running a channel search until you find the right spot.  Good Luck.

I bought an old fashioned tv antenna and mounted it on my deck. I get CBS, NBC and my network. I’m on the north side of Pine

On Vermilion end of Moccasin Point have about 5' TV antenna mounted on 20' pole with a preamp pointed south toward Chisholm get 3 channel strong KBJR (NBC), KRIICBS, KRIIMY and weaker 3 WIRT (ABC) WIRTME, WIRTION. Rarely I've been able to get PBS, but not in the last year.

Tvfool.com can map your location to local TV transmitters. Note they still list transmission repeaters from Geene hill south of Orr but these stopped broadcasting about 3 years ago

I also found this and other signal locators helpful to know if you even have a chance to get any channels in. Some will even make suggestions for the antenna and options you would need to reach them. Great help to know if you want to spend the money or not even waste your time.
