Big Marine lake

Was looking at doing some bass fishing on big marine. I saw on the map that little inlet on the far south side that goes into some super shallow water. I’m guessing it’s full of weeds or pads of some sort. Anyone bass fished tgat in the summer before. I would be doing it by canoe. Just seeing if it’s worth a shot.. Thanks

All the times I’ve fished that lake I don’t recall ever checking that out.  I’ve ground out a lot of shallow water on that lake but not there.  I’ve always done better deep.

 

My guess is this season there might be NO water in there.  Sorry, not much help but just keep your hopes in check.

That inlet has a fairly deep hole, about 9 ft or so. But it is shallow and weedy for the most part. When I was a kid, you used to be able to walk to the inlet from the boat launch. Never caught anything other than sunfish.
