Been a long time since I spent on a couple years on Big Fork River and then with kayaks.

Can someone give me advice on what stretches if any I can use my V14 Tracker

with 20 horse, though I can go with my trolling motor.  Back injury prevents kayaking.

Looks like above Big Fork and a couple areas below Big Falls might work if there is

enough water.

Thanks for any help.  This is back up to 3 Canada trips that got cancelled.

There are a few landings where Hwy. 6 crosses it that should be fishable. You will probably need to pick one down stream of county 14 though. I believe you can also land right in Bigfork and it's fairly safe there. Watch out for rocks and deadheads. If you go up by Bigfalls they have an excellent city campground on the river at the falls. You can trailer back down Hwy. 6 to a landing or two or trailer west to the landing where the Sturgeon River joins the Bigfork. There's muskie, walleye, bass, northern pike etc.

Thanks.  I'm staying in Littlefork and my plan, flexible, is to fish the mouth of the Big Fork and Little Fork rivers and then move upstream as far as I can go in the V14.

I' put in at Pelland and then there is a put in (landing) right off the highway at the mouth of the Big Fork.

I thought this would be off the beaten path, but I'm now hearing it could he high traffic there....parking and fishing.  The trip is sort of a bucket list thing as I've never fished that far north in Minnesota.  I'd rather catch fewer fish and be less crowded.

Thoughts on this very much appreciated.
