Tackle Organization

Just want to throw this out there does anyone have any really effective or neat ways/tips for tackle orgzantion in your boat or in your garage. Share pictures if you can thanks.

I just put everything in Plano type boxes by species I expect to fish for. Take the ones along I need and put the rest in the garage shelf. Of course some gear I always carry like pliers, hookouts etc. Made a wall rack for all of my rods and take what I need.

My tactic is to buy a 20' tiller boat. Load it with all the crap I been buying for years but has seldom been used. Then have a 3700 Plano box with the 10 lures that work.

Dutchboy 2 That is so true I hardly even have 3 3700 boxes with me and a big ziplock bag of plastics. Sometimes less is more

Oh wow that looks slick I am a big fan of the rod slicks they help a lot I feel like personally I just have every thing organized in to plano boxes by lure type so all my sqaure bills in one all my medium diving crankbaits jigs in one ect and I keep all my plastics in 3-4 snap latch totes that I really like and I just kinda throw them In my tackle bag based on what I am going after I also have a nice spinner bait box I really like

Upon getting married 25 years ago a discussion was had at my house. The subject was fishing gear but more specifically boats. I enjoy shopping for boats. I'll usually hang onto one only a few years and then I get the urge to "shop." (It's a shopping year this year)

 

Anyway the question / statement posed to me was " I think you have enough boats and fishing stuff don't you?" A simple reply was "Well dear, I can spend my money on that stuff, or chasing skirts, drinking & gambling like I was doing when I met you."

 

Ever sense I just get the "look" but never had the question again.  

 

BTW, I have what may be the worlds best wife.
