Shore fishing near McGrath?

Hey all! I'm going to spending a couple days in McGrath and plan to hit some spots on Mille Lacs I'm familiar with, but would love to have other options. What are some good locations?

Snake River flows right through McGrath. There’s a canoe launch right at the hwy 65 crossing. River isn’t very wide at this point, but if you have some waders, you can cover lots of water. Fish don’t start showing up on this stretch until about the first of June, but you never know! I caught a 4 pound walleye from that launch once, on a bright sunny 95 degree day! Quite a surprise!

Clear lake can be good, just outside Glen. Rabbit is just down the road, off 47, still lots of panfish going along the banks of Knife, along Hwy 65. I think they catch a few pike from Rice, in the refuge, where the bridge is. There is a decent panfish lake right out of Finlayson, aptly named Fish Lake.
