New yak got here today. Great yack but one thing I didn't like was the rod holders. Not deep enough. So RickG mentioned melting the bottom out works so I did that instead of a saw. Worked slick. Got the anchor trolley Installed. Love the seat! Gonna be fun when my shoulder is ready.   Forgot to mention kind of a funky paddle holder so ordered a couple clips to install.

One thing I will be doing this spring is putting some grip type tape on the bottom inside. Almost slipped and fell yesterday while attempting to get out of yak. lol

Good idea with the grip tape!  You know you are getting to the age where that old man rope will help also.

Do you pull it to the lake on that trailer?  Been thinking of getting a yak instead of pulling boat around all the time, save some gas money..

Yes I do. This one is smaller than last yak so will see how it works on top of Subaru when shoulder better. Trailer works sweet
