Sorry but the event is cancelled due to deep snow with no access the fishing spots.

 

Mark your calendars for March 2nd.  Usually from sunrise to whenever.   I will wait to post a location closer to the date.  The kitties are getting slammed this winter on the chain so we will try to find some less pressured fish for everyone.  Ice is coming along with a fair amount of truck traffic on the chain.

I hope it all turns out great again!  Seems like Cool Cats is always one of the best GTGs and every year I seem to be headed elsewhere!  Chasing lakers in Ontario this year...

Living the dream.  Generally get there around sunrise.  Last year the bite was good until 9:30 am and fizzled.  Everyday is different though.  We've had years where they bit all day.

been good. fishing when I can. this year has been a weird year. unsafe ice to over 20+ inches and now add on all this snow on top of the ice. would be better if my snowmobile wasn't down and out for the count. blew a plug from the side of the water pump and also now has a antifreeze leak from the head too. would be able to get around the lakes better if I had this fixed. might get it fixed then dump the sled as a parts sled.
