A little bit more snow, most lakes I've heard are 8" if not more of ice. You could use a 4 wheeler or snowmobile as there's enough snow but not too much. I haven't been out since last week. Working 192 hours in a 9 day stretch. -

We finished out the duck season with a nice push of late, cold-weather ducks. Got some big bunches of mallards, bluebills, and shovelers to drop right into large decoy spreads. Got to hunt water through the last day of the duck season. My son got a big goose out in a field the day before Thanksgiving to finish up the waterfowl season. Look for me in the Fishing Reports Clubs now for ice fishing reports. -

I had to try and enjoy a day at work. Watched the second half. Another nail biter but 13 and 2 sounds awesome. Wife made grilled cheese and tomato soup. Had venison steak last night though. Mmm good. -

It was a struggle to get the fish to bite. From the few people I talked to I did ok, but it was not up to my normal expectations. There about 10 inches in all the holes I cut today. -

I think I need to replace the reeds on my 200 Optimax. I heard a few people say to use carbon fiber reeds. Does anyone have experience with this?
