My Marcum Lx-3

was using my marcum. got all set up look at it  the light goes out. its still running i can here it.  i tried different batteries. Nothing help please

Sounds like sending it in to Marcum is about your only recourse. Good luck.

I would say you’ll need to send it in. If it’s under warranty send it to marcum with a note explaining the issue and they’ll get back to you. If it’s not under warranty you’ll have to pay out of pocket which can get expensive. I’d first make sure all your connections are right and secure to the head unit. Like the transducer.

This is one of those things with the (bulb, led, whatever) that spins around like old school green box, right?   so, if it isn't under warranty, I would check the brushes or whatever there is that feeds the signal to the spinning arm..  Those things aren't rocket science.  

 

If it is a lcd display that simulates spinning arm, than not so sure what to do.    shine a flashlight on it to see if it is doing anything?    

 

You did say that there was no light.  Isn't there normally a light at 0, even if transducer not attached?
