Faribault Area Beaver N Rat Trappers

Recommended Posts

Anyone interest trapping beavers and/or rats? I hunt a public wma and the beaver(s) been damming up a pond that gets higher than normal for the last 3-4 yrs now. I see some rats in there also and like 3-4 (huts or cribs) whatever you call their houses lol. Whenever I go hunt there I tried to break up the dam and the next time I come back, the beaver builts it right back. I don't know how many beaver(s) are in there but I do see 1 big beaver lodge in the middle of the pond and it seems active cus of all the brushes/trees it's been cutting down. Anyone interest PM me for the location.

Just a heads up that you cannot trap beavers on an WMA without a permit from the wildlife manager.

Best to contact the DNR and let them access it to see if they think it's an issue before you end up with a fine.
