Clam Plate Quick Release

The ION Quick Release has the same diameter shaft as the Clam Plate so it directally connects to a clam plate. Allows for a quick change to all the different auger bits you use by using a stub shaft on your auger bit. I configured my 6", 7" & 8" Mora / Strike Master augers to adapt to the Clam Plate. The ice anchor bit also works with my Eskimo ice anchors.20180914_080011.thumb.png.d35da9d9e5f7c6241f0708463bf8f62f.png20180913_212911.thumb.jpg.e0b6d5fb8716cd4c5967d6d55297047c.jpg20180913_213103.thumb.jpg.eb26337d9054da3f5e77af4cdc56c5ec.jpg

That’s sweet. Do you happen to know if that will work with the StrikeMaster power head and chipper bit? Be awesome if It did It would make life a lot easier as I pull my auger apart alot. Thanks

@AlwaysFishing23 I don't have the StrikeMadter power head & chipper bit. Take a pic of the auger bit connection to the power head disconnected along with diameter measurement of the connecting shaft. Ill see what I can find.

I thought about it and I wouldn’t work. When I tried to mount my lazer hand auger on my power head (didn’t work) the hand auger bit was way to small for the power head shaft to fit. So for any one else wondering this will NOT work.

What is the measured size of the hand auger bit that does not fit?

Neither augers are out from storage yet. I have so much ice gear I keep the hand auger under my bed boxed up and I ain’t taking it out untill the last weekend in oct. But since you have a mora hand auger looks to me like the newer one with removable handle the shaft should be the exact same size as the lazer hand augers.
