Really would like to hear more reports as well!

Thanks for your report!

I havent heard much info personally either.  Seems Mille Lacs anglers are more secretive now.  Worried thier reports effect the quota I have been told.

Please keep reporting guys.

Hit the pond the last 2 days 2 of us the 1st day got 30 eyes 9 over 23. Today I was solo, got 25, 20 over 23"-27".... Rigging and jiggin raps were the best baits, the fish are fat right now.

Nice report.

I also heard 7 mile reef out of Garrison was putting out a lot of big Mille Lacs walleye along with numbers in the 16" to 19" range.

My parents have been out there regularly in the past 10 days and the best walleye fishing of the season is going right now, especially if you want to catch really big fish out on the mud flats.  The bugs are hatching too...

Rick

Do you have any pics or video of your fishing on Mille Lacs?

Is the best bite still on the mud?

Deep gravel/rocks is also kicking out tons of fish, especially the evening bite.  Slip bobbers and leeches, or crawlers. Jigging Raps, pulling plugs, boards or lead core, it all works.  Look to 3 Mile, 4 Mile, 5 Mile, July Bar, or any adjacent rock piles, small reefs, humps or any contour change. General depths has been 25 feet plus.

For Vermilion, the Lowrance lake insight data is identical to Lakemaster, 3 foot contours.

Maybe you should check the various sites that sell mapping stuff?   What is the Lowrance offering?   Is there a different Navionics choice?

You're correct trumy.  I just posted this on that page.  Thank you.

Hi everyone, I will be heading to Echo Lake, in the superior national Forest, the middle of June.  Never been there, but the small amount I found on this site says it's a good fishing lake.  Does anyone have past experience on this lake?  I'm targeting walleye mostly, but Pike and crappie are always on my menu.  Are there any lure colors that have worked well for you?  I'm mostly a live bait fisherman.  Any presentations that worked well?  Any advice will be greatly appreciated with this lake, and I will report back how it went/what worked.  Thank you everyone.

I brought a notarized letter from their mother and they required it back when I did it. The other documents prove who he is but not whether the father is spiriting him away.
