The water temp had dropped to anywhere between 44 to 40, depending on where you were. Saw as low as 37 in Bystrom Bay. The temp we saw the most was 41.  It’s cold!

Swim 9 am this morning.  No idea on temp but Major Shrinkage.  Coolimoolio! keep on rocken!   T

Water temps may be be 40 something on surface but four feet down at 3:30 PM during my annual Docks Done Dip it was as cold as normal for a clear rusty slushy. Major Shrinkage oh boy! Buuuuur

48.6 degrees in Big Bay this morning. I heard today that a 33-7/8" walleye was caught and kept in Pike Bay yesterday! That is a true fish of a life time! Cliff

My cabin is very close to where your boat is in that pic.  It was 40 around there last weekend. Headed up again Thursday morning.

Down to 38 in Wake Em Up Narrows this afternoon...when we pulled the plug early in favor of sanity.  Did manage a 27.75”er this morning among a couple of others for our Herculean efforts. ha

Anyone able to share the latest water temps?  Heading up in 10 days for annual trip.  Looks like warm this week then a bit cooler by this weekend.  Hopefully water temps are starting to head down a bit as well.

I never turned on my sonar, but the water felt great every day that I jumped into the water. My guess is that it was in the mid-70s. Someone else surely has an accurate reading!

A few days ago it was in fact like 75 degrees most places on west end.

Well....I had no shrinkage and it didn't feel like a warm bath, so my senses were correct!

In Black Bay I think it's called wading, not swimming 😀

Will be interesting to see how much the water temps drop with these low temps, any updates?

It was around 70 degrees this weekend and fantastic for swimming. It was definitely one of those times where it was better to be in the water than out of it and dripping wet.
