What's left of the snow after the rain on Monday

Coming up Thursday morning and planning on making the run to the reefs/islands via snowmobile.  Is there any loose snow left on the trail to keep the sleds cool, or would a 4 wheeler be necessary?  Any information from locals there would be very much appreciated.  Thx.

From what I am seeing on the Arnesen webcam, there is not much snow left.  Sleds would need scratchers.  Wheelers maybe a better option until we get more snow and there is none in the forecast.

Very interested if anyone has a report on this also. Headed to the Angle on Saturday for 5 days and was planning to go across the lake by snowmobile, but webcam and forecast doesn't look good for sleds! May need to go to plan B......

Just talked to someone at Ballard's and the trail heading to the NW Angle is all but gone other than slush.  Don't imagine that slush is going to look to good after we get single digit overnight lows.  Plan B in motion.

We did get an inch or so of snow yesterday.

Thanks for the info jerkbait! We are going to just haul all the way to the Angle and hopefully we can keep the sleds from overheating once we are up there! Good luck to everyone that's out!
