Fished out of Morris Point Thursday 3pm to 6 pm at 18 ft. Fishing was amazing wind out of west caught one after another. Friday was ok hard time fighting the wind fish bit lighter, Saturday wind switched more out of north west couldnt get out till afternoon when wind let up a little. Fishing was slower yet caught a fair amount anyway,  Sunday morning not much wind tried Zipple  didnt do so well went back to Morris and did ok again fish were really biting lite. Ended up with limit of nice walleye of which 18.5 was biggest. And we had great fish fry to boot. Only bad part of the weekend phone got wet so no pictures.

Awesome report Ray,

I heard good things about MPG.  It will stay great till we cant take the cold anymore.  Also a great place to be on first ice.

There was a lot of action there over the weekend.  A lot of sorting but there were decent fish to be caught if you were patient.  Many throwbacks and bait stealers.  We caught more saugers than walleyes.  I think it was different each day and also morning vs afternoon.

I was back up to morris yesterday oct 22 fished afternoon for about 3 hrs. in 17 to 19 feet caught about 25 walleye and sauger mix average size about 10 in. only 2 keepers. Lots of boats everyone was catching fish. I'm guessing I missed as many as I caught. Stinger saved the day!
