Fishing was good this weekend! My dad 6 year old son and myself fished by the rock pile right outside zippel bay and caught alot of fish got our limits pretty quick all 14"-18" a few nice saugers and 3 jumbos. Threw back a bunch in the 13" range we got 3 overs 1 was a 25" my son got that one quite the battle for him and I got a 37" sturgeon. Gold disco ball jigs worked the best. I had the kid set up with a bobber and 1/8 ounce disco and it worked just as good as jigging. Live shiners seemed to do a little better but we caught plenty on dead ones. 18-20 feet was the depth we fished.
