Hi everyone.Caught 6 walleyes on east lake in 13 to 8 feet.55 degree water temp,large waves.Pike were mixed in along with a crappie and a few perch.

13 to 18 feet.They were much deeper than we expected.

any size? buddy was up there and couldn't get anything bigger than 15

Yeah,13 to 15,but we consider those eaters.But this guy next to us caught at least a 30 incher.The thing was the biggest walleye I have ever seen.Then after,he just drove away.I wonder why.

What colors were you guys having luck with on rush?

I dont remember, we were using jigheads, with crawlers and shiners. We will be there again.

Before opener? Targeting walleyes out of season on is illegal.

The post about the 30 incher is from last year, after the opener.   The reply asking about colors was almost a year later.

Well, crappies were actually biting this year like crazy getting ready to spawn, everywhere you looked on the west side of east rush going into the channel you could see crappies, caught 2 walleyes on weedlines, Northerns were in all the same places as crappies, you could see them swimming around everywhere, as well as big bass getting ready to spawn and of course, perch.
