Long Lake

Anyone been fishing out on Long Lake right next to DL? Went out there last night after work to fish for crappies for a couple hours. Set up in 30' and thought I was in a decent spot but only marked a couple fish from 6:00-8:30pm. I seen there was a larger group of houses farther to the North, maybe I should have been over closer to them? Was pretty confused and stumped after I left the lake.

Those houses to the N are getting a mix of fish including a few crappies I am told...but nothing great.  Not the best ice fishing lake in the area but if convenient for you that works...Good Luck and report your results....thx.

Yeah that was my first time going to the lake and I just wanted to try it out. May end up heading to Floyd for evening crappies next time.

Floyd is a good choice...not the biggest but sort through them and when all done you'll have some nice crappies. Good Luck!
