Best resort to go out of on Winnie

Heading up to fish Winnie the 3rd weekend in February bringing my own fish house what is the best resort to go out of?  Who has the best roads that get you to the best fishing?  Thanks in advance.

Highbanks does a wonderful job on the roads and accommodations.

Ditto on Highbanks. Folks at Nodak were very helpful last weekend and good roads too. We fished the recommended areas and the four of us caught over 100 perch in an afternoon. Only problem was only one 11" fish and everything else under 9". Kept a dozen 8.5-9" fish for a very small fish dinner...made up for it with lots of potatoes. Also nailed a nice 30" pike and lost a big whitefish right at the hole...bummer. The area on south end was loaded with fish...we just had trouble finding schools of a larger variety.

Just got back from High Banks. Great people up there! We did a sleeper for a couple nights. Eye bite was slow but we did manage a few dandies and nephew got his largest eye at 28 inches on a paddle wheel at 330 a.m. Great battle! Got a few nice northerns also. Jigging was non-existant for me in the house. Bobbers with shiner or fathead, red hooks. 2 of the better eyes came from a gold Gem N Eye with a shiner. Did it make a difference?? Who knows.  Sorry for pic quality. Still learning this phone. :)... Sleeper we were in is 2 years old and nice. Comfy beds and good room for the 3 of us.  Portapotty  right by the unit was a nice plus.  Took an aqua vu along for fun but just popped it down a couple times to look at the perch then pulled it up. Saw a pair of glasses.  oops !   not mine ! lol...   I have not ben to any other rental place on Winny so cant compare to anything.  I give them a 10 !

Haven't heard too many complaints from people using them. Nice shirt!
