From Denny's in Roseau, hot off the phones

Adrian’s:   Open; sleds & ATV’s only. 7-9” of ice in the bay & 9-11” on the lake. Fishing has been good.

Cyrus Resort: Open; sleds & ATV’s only also allowing Ranger type vehicles too. 8-10” of ice. Fishing is good 26-29’ mostly saugers. Sounds like you need to have orange colored jigs of most any type. Stay on the roads!! With the cold snap coming this weekend you can be assured there will be a crack or 2 opening up. Listen to what the resorts are saying.

Morris Point:  Open; sleds ATV’s & side by sides only. 10-12” of ice fishing good in 25-28’

Zippel Bay:  Open; sleds & ATV’s only. Fishing has been good, very busy Deanna didn’t have much time to talk.

Dales Fish House Rentals & Winter Access (formerly Babbler’s Road):   Open; sleds & ATV’s only. Dale & Connie are the new owners of this access. Once the conditions allow they intend to plow roads that will be wide enough to guarantee it will always be open. They will have roads to the usual reefs plus they are going about a mile past 16 to a spot that was only assessable by sled. So that all sounds great as it is the access that exposes you to the most reefs on the south shore.

Springsteel:  sleds ATV’s & side by sides have been running out of there for some time now but they are not charging for access yet. The Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club has stake a trail to the NW Angle but not groomed. Lots of rough ice in places.
