Update: Wow, I was educated today on how much weight ice will actually support. I guess big lake is now the "north metro" because I saw things you only see city'its do. multiple 3/4 tons and dual axle wheelhouses right next to each other on 12 inches of ice, also who buys a 20k wheelhouse and then puts a 50 dollar 2 stroke auger in it for 10 minutes smoking the entire thing up so the smoke alarm is going off for eternity? Guess I'll stick to the up north lakes where people seem to have a little more sense and dont stack up on each other like its no big deal.

I ran down to lake Sarah today, nobody was driving out, 11.5" where I was. A random mini van came out and went racing all the way across the lake, couldn't believe it. After about 30 min it went racing back across and off the lake.  Didn't find much for fish, couple average crappies, a few decent gills.

You should of seen Eagle they are piled up in one spot with the big truck with the big ice house pulled out behind it, I honestly believe people see one j*** a** drive out and just follow without doing any checking of the ice conditions.  I prefer the four wheeler with the trailer regardless of how thick it is......

Agreed, Eagle Lake was chaos to say the least.    Don't get me wrong, I like to have fun like the rest of them, but not at the expense of those fishing in the area.     I am done with Eagle for the year as well.
