Need some help or ideas.  Grandson has a hockey tournament the weekend of Jan 7.  Will be staying in Warroad and going to other cities for games.  First game is  8Am friday and nothing the rest of the day so through why not get some fishing in.  I know this is out aways yet, but with this ice making season who knows..  So if it keeps going this way what would be your recommendations for location.  Bring the wheeler Any help or ideas will be appreciated

If you get on the phone right now you might be able to book with IZZYs in Warroad. They run houses and I am pretty sure haul you in and out. So you would no have to bring much extra along. They run out of one of the Motels in Warroad so it might be the one you are staying at.

There are a couple others that run out of Warroad but call now if you want to get in with any of them.

Good Luck

Curt thanks for the info.  The hours of the hockey games do not match up with the times IZZYS runs their shuttles.  So we are on our own.  Ya we are staying at the Patch.  Will be bringing two portables in case some of the kid or parents want to tag along

Check with Springsteel Resort it's just north of Warroad and they plow a road. Fishing is pretty good there too with a good mix of walleye sauger and perch.

Springsteel or swift ditch for getting on yourself if there is some sort of road by then.

As far as renting a house, Reel Adventures, is who we have used in the past, if possible they will get you out.
