Ice report

Just got back from  my cabin at morson Ontario and every thing looks to be iced over. I went and checked ice conditions and found 3 to 6 inches.  Where the lake had blown open early there is only 3 inches. Its going to be a while before its safe to fish.

There is more ice than I expected after highs in the 40's the past 3 days.  This week looks bad for ice production, but might be better the week after.

I was surprised to see every thing iced over. Still got a ways to go before it's safe to fish.

Wow!  Wouldn't catch me out there with a wheeler!  How thick is it where you took the pics?

About 6 inches where the atv is at. Closer to the islands in the distance is where I found the 3 inches of ice.

hunter couple of ?  When and where were the pics taken. We are guessing but would like to know..

The foggy picture with the chain saw was taken this past Saturday 5 and the other pictures were taken on sunday the 6. My cabin is at Morson Ontario lake of the woods. If have doubts look at the satellite image you can clearly see its iced up. And yes I know big traverse is still open.
