3 red euros on the little black jig worked the best for me. I think I showed it to you. ;)   I dont know the names of all these jigs, I just throw them down the hole and wiggle em. i tried half dozen different plastics but they wanted red meat. lol  Next time out there I am gonna go with a bigger and brighter jig and see what happens. See if miss piggy might like it.

Baked walleye is great too! You need to try backstrap jerky, Royce, it's excellent. 1/4" thick Black Peppered or Cajun. Don't grind it up a squirt it out in your jerky gun, Straight muscle meat, now thats jerky dude.

As far as eating gill skins, no thanks. Lake mud just hasn't found a place in my diet.

I use the cyclone scaling pail. takes a lot of that off then we scrape the skin against the grain. no mud!!!!!!!! was brought up this way. heck we use to clean our sunfish whole, till 3 little rug rats came along, then scaled and filleted!!!!

Was out on watab in St. Joe yesterday afternoon, got a late start. Stupid house projects....was able to pick up a few decent sunfish. Found almost 8" of ice in most spots. This Cold weather has helped a lot. Early last week the same spot only had 3 to 4 inches
