Lucked into a beautiful day Saturday (Deer Opener), my favorite fishing day of the year.  I don't think it ever got to 40 degrees but the sun was out, the Ice Armor did it's job, the winds were tolerable and the fish would bite.  It was the first day this year that we didn't catch even one slot fish but the keepers were biting and we got into some real nice Perch too. 

I was fishing with Kelly Eppers from Greenbush and we had a great time fishing in the sun on opening day!

Looks like great fun.  Got out Sat. around home and got a few fish but would have preferred to be up there.
