Hi Everyone,

 

I'm wondering if I can get my fish and ski into Lake Caroline from Lake Augusta this time of year? Is the Creek to shallow for my fish and ski? Can I get into Otter if Caroline doesn't pan out? Thanks!

You can get into Otter easily. Caroline would be a long shot, and you would likely have to get out and walk it at least part of the way.

I have trouble getting a duck boat from Augusta to Caroline and it involves getting out and pushing pulling over rock riffles. a fish and ski will not make through the slough on Augusta to get into the river between with the engine.  With duck boat you get part way and row then push pole in the muck.

I concur with Hydro, Otter is easy but Caroline would be tough if not impossible. The rapids right at the boys scout camp are tough to get over in the spring/high water with by 18' fish and ski that I typically don't even try it.
