Are there any small mouth bass in Minnesota river? I tried a few times but have no result. Maybe I am not in an right area, I typically fish the river bends from 35W to highway 101 from a boat. Any insight would be appreaciated.

I dont know that area of the river very well, but upstream a ways, I have never seen any small mouths. I have caught several LM over the years while casting for a walleye. I have my doubts there is a fishable population SM because of all of the silt in the MN. I am sure there are others that have fished that area and could answer that better then me.
