Would anyone be willing to share some info on shore fishing this area?

I've never tried it and plan on giving it a shot soon so here's a few questions. Are shore folk confined to a small space, or is there room to roam? Is it heavily pressured? Are there any deeper holes and or decent structure to concentrate on?

We aren't targeting any one species and will be using various baits. I'm kinda excited to use a circle hook loaded w/ cutbait and cast plastic at the same time.

There is a fair amount of water to target from shore in the Osceola area.  A wad of crawlers on a slip sinker rig will get you many different varieties of fish from gills and perch to cats and possibly sturgeon along with many different rough fish.  Cut bait you will be looking at mainly cats, possibly eyes and sturgeon.  Countdowns, beetle spins, shad raps, twister tails in bright colors are all good bets.

I've never done very good shore fishing in that area. A sheepshead here, a redhorse there. It's not pressured so much, but canoers come down by the thousands! And they always seem to float down right along the shoreline, right about where your lines will be  Personally I think the franconia access, just a few miles upstream is a much better shore fishing spot. The copas access just north of william o'brien is pretty good also.
