Maybe I just wasn't looking but I've never noticed many geese on the lake.  This morning I have this pair in front of me and a second pair down the shore, both pairs have about a half dozen chicks each.  Have a loon nesting down the shore too.

Yes there are here  butt not of control-yet.  At least they don't eat fish but they poop all over the place.

I'd recommend  not to feed them so they may move on.

A buddy of might took a photo of 16 little ones between the parents  on his lake.  I think that may be a record! Glad it wasn't here.

There has been a greater number of greater Canadians on the lake the past 8 to 10 years. Mainly because they have increased all over the United States and migrate here to breed.

Almost never saw any nesting birds here back when I was young! Although that was before they invented dirt!

Nicely trimmed and manicured lawn = geese.

They can see predators and always nice tender new growth.

It's fun to watch them with the little ones though.

we had goose the gander & the goslings around here also, I haven't seen them for a week or so and that is fine with me after the mess they left on the docks.

We did have about 20 swans stop by this spring which was pretty neat to see.

Neighbor guy is dead on.  Mowed grass, particularly right down to the lakeshore is exactly what the Geese are looking for.  Funny how the geese hang out by the yard of the guy a few cabins over that has no trees left and grass mowed right down to the lake.

Would rather not have them around with all the droppings left behind...  Much prefer the ducks!  Always have had lots of Goldeneyes and some mallards around...

If you want to be great at something, like coding or writing, you need to go to school for it. If you want to learn a skill like cooking or carpentry, you need to spend time with experts and practice at home. Also, you can get resume writing services 24 hours to submit your thesis task on time. And if you want to become an expert in something like finance or investing, then you need access to people who know how those things work — which means going to college or trade school so that you can get real experience learning from knowledgeable teachers and peers.

What's funny to me is all the crazy names these Trolls pick to use for their handles! 🤪

Can they pick something normal like smurfy or chaffmj?  😆
