Nice vid Curt!  Did I notice a little "attractor" blade a few feet up the line from Mark's jig?  If so, Kudos to Mark!  That's something I started doing thru the ice up there several years back, and it can work really well to bring in a few neutral fish and get them to bite on a chunk of meat below, especially when the water is a little murky or stained.

Glad to see the fish are still there, and fairly active.  Hope to be up on the lake soon! ;)

Mark starting using a big 5 of diamonds dare devil a few years ago summer and winter and it has never been a detriment to our success.  I think the flash and noise attracts fish to the see what the heck it is.  It is such a heavy rig with all that iron hangin' there I dont like to use it but I am glad he does.

This latest NCOR Vid was shot on Saturday last weekend (Memorial Day).

The murky water slowed things down only slightly....it was a great weekend to be

on Lake of the Woods.  Check it out.

Great video again Curt! You need to have Minnekota set you up with an Ulterra with the auto deploy.

What was Mark using for a lure?

Table is updated below.  Opening day is likely in jeopardy.  Lots of good dates available for those sitting on the sideline.

That's ok, got the Bear hunting out of my system years ago.  Still have some good spots on the GPS up in the Arrow head!  Did love me some good greasy bear roasts though!  😋

Yes, I'm on the West End.  No crappies yet, but I caught a couple of Cisco's and some perch this morning. Been dealing with chores at the cabin since 10 AM, so not much fishing.

10 inches of snow in cook this morning. 53 was pretty messy

Hard to tell exactly how much snow the way the wind was blowing it around, close to that I'll bet!  3 sleds went by earlier. Brian, are you on the west end? Did you fish?  Catch any crappies?

I was on the lake this morning. There is still a lot of ice. I went down to the housing on my auger a couple of times.  I'm not sure how much snow we got yesterday and last night but it looks like around 7 to 8 inches at least.

This is going to slow things down!
