Anyone having issues with the center digital depth reading. I was at lotw fishing is 26 ft of water. The center depth reading would go crazy and go up to about 60 ft and then back down to the normal depth. Can anyone help me.

I have noticed I have issues with mine if the puck isn't pointed directly down through the hole. Can't say I see the depth flash the way you are but you could be getting a false return from the sonar if the ducer isn't getting a straight read to the bottom. Just a guess though, hope it works out, I love my 45.

Brothers 55 has this issue sometimes too. I think its recalibrating. I'm not sure his only does it 2-3 times an outing. Good luck!

Is this when you have it on the automatic setting, or one of the specific depth settings (20, 40, etc.)? My 55 does that from time to time, mostly when I have it on the automatic depth setting. If the unit gets a funky return signal this can happen, and from my experience it flashed right back to where it is supposed to be.

I get that on my 45 as well, sometimes it'll read 1.2ft for some time. It takes a cycle on and off a few times and will snap out of it. I've stopped caring because the flasher portion always works and the depths on the flasher still appear accurate.
