Stayed at sportsmans and fished off of Adrian's road Thursday afternoon until Saturday afternoon. Caught lots of sauger and small walleye. Managed to keep a bunch of decent sized fish for the fryer. Also caught a 28", 21", and one right at 19.5" that we set free. The best part was we also managed to catch some big pike! 31", 34" 2-37", and a 39" that we released plus 2 under 30 that we kept. The highlight of the trip was a 52" sturgeon that my son battled for 45 minutes before we finally got her up the hole! Had a blast with my 2 sons and father! We'll never forget that trip! If I knew what the heck I was doing I would post pictures.

Heading up thur, sounds a little better then some reports! What were the lucky lures?

We caught most of our fish in 14'. A couple of our guys tried deep by all of the other houses and didn't do very good. They caught a few. Gold rattelin flyers worked best for me tipped with a shiner head. The pike were caught on big sucker minnows. You might not be able to get around as easy with the new snow. It was blowing like crazy Saturday! Good luck!

Was this a consistent day bite for you guys that shallow? Or mostly in the early mornings and evenings?

Thanks for the report! It really is appreciated. Seems like to many guys ask questions and then never think to provide awnsers once they get back.

Thursday we only fished the afternoon. Friday we caught fish there all day. It was a little better from 8-11 am and 2-6 but we did pick a few around noon. Saturday was a little slow until the afternoon but I think that was due to the cold front that moved in. We marked a lot of fish but they didn't want to commit.

Make sure the unit is firmly in the cradle. Sometimes it seems in place and a loose connection will occur with sporadic power. The other thing is, if he has a micro USB map chip in, remove it. If it's corroded Sometimes these units will shut off in attempt to not cause electrical harm

I'll put new plugs on the top of my list; cheap fix.  One of the plugs had the threads worn off on the cap on top and it stuck in the rubber cap.  Thought this may have been part of the problem but a new (used plug) with a tip cap didn't change the issue.  The change in one plug is why I have mixed plugs in the picture.   Lots of shopping to do at Haydays next fall - new belt, plugs, track, ski spindles/ bushing, clutch puller for a start.

Wow. Still looks like winter up there! I was in the Alex, area yesterday and most of the lakes were almost ice free.

Went out this evening for a couple hours. Three of us only caught 4 crappies, small perch and a small bass. Ice is getting a little soft, but still 22" and tight to the shore where we were. Going out later tomorrow, caught more a dusk last time out.

Little confused. If the cradle proves the power source and it shuts off when on it.  How does it turn on first to even shut off?  Is it turning on then shutting right off?  Has he tried to power it up with just the plan power cord and not the cradle, if it stays on, then it maybe some short in the cradle possibly.
