Was woundering how far they are out from resort. Thinking of coming up this weekend and walk out with my Otter lodge. Was going to come up next weekend but cant make it. 1/2ton trucks probably would have been allowed. Any info would be nice.

What I would do is "friend" Morris Point on face book, you get the up to date info. or when you get there ask.and if it to far to walk,

ask someone iF they would haul you out and back for some money.

Freds beds works out of Morris Point and he saw us walking out and ask if we need a ride and he took us out and picked us up at no cost.(we did give him a tip.)Put us on fish too.

The Greatest people at that place and we've been going back every year.

      Something in May, like around Opener.  Could be white knuckles for boaters that weekend with the way things stalled out since the contest started and how thick it still is.   Highs in the 50’s coming but lows are around freezing and not a lot of wind in the extended forecast.   I’ll ya what, if you change from 4/26 and it hits that date, I’ll buy ya some mythical FM beer.  And you know where you can find it. 😉. But don’t change on my account - this is still a free country!

      I caught the 10pm news the other night. They said that starting next week Minnesota will be above average for temps. I give them a 33% chance of getting that right.

      That's ok, got the Bear hunting out of my system years ago.  Still have some good spots on the GPS up in the Arrow head!  Did love me some good greasy bear roasts though!  😋
