hey everyone,

hope we all had a good xmas. however, santa didnt get me a traditional ML like i had asked for. lol

so it lead me to lookin through Big-C online and as i was lookin to buy a traditional kit gun, for roughly the same price i came across this guy

optimapistol.jpg

being that i have an Optima rifle, i was thinking it would be super cool to have the pistol as well. plus hunting with a ML pistol would be "AWESOMOUS"

in recent yrs my goal has been to hunt with different weapons and i had full intention of using a traditional ML next season until now.

needless to say, thats where my delima begins.

do i hunt next season with a traditional ML rifle or an In-line pistol???

no i cant afford bought, heck technically, i cant afford a new toy right now after xmas shoppin lol

has anyone, every hunted with a ML pistol and what are ur thoughts please?

thanks a bunch in advance and happy new yrs ever1

Just make sure that it is tapped for iron sights, if not that is another cost that you will have to think of. I shortened a rifle barrel down for a Thompson frame that was built into a pistol, and installed sights on it for a guy last summer and he was planning on hunting with it this past ML season, I have not heard how he did but did get a chance to talk with before season and he loved the way it shot. He use shooting sticks to steady his shots and said it was really accurate at the 100 yrd mark he sighted it in at.

It is  pretty shiny piece of equipment. I was able to purchase it on my scab job wages 😆 I don't think I'll update the electronics any time soon, 3 screens is enough?

Just another "Words matter"   Voting on school levy. This was posted on the School "education district" building door.  We had a nice cold walk all the way around the building! The arrow was added, after we educated them! 😒

Obviously this is more of a hot topic due to forward facing sonar. With that being said, I know people who have pulled crappies out of basins 40+ deep since the fl-8 and zercom flashers came out. That's over 30 years ago. I do think there's a push to ban these in MN and I could see them doing it here. They'll have to pay my livescope from my cold dead hands 😆 on days I can't catch a walleye jigging or rigging it's nice to turn it on and throw corks at individual fish

It wasn't just you, I was fishing west of you about an hour on Monday. Fished 8am-4pm, no fish, two keeper walleye and one small one from 4pm-630pm. Marked a lot of fish, they would come up to a jig and swim away. They were skittish to the dead stick too

I wonder like divers, if we let them decompress every 10' for 1/2hr. If that would help?  🤔  It would slow the bite down a bit!  🤭
