I was thinking about trying this area this winter. I dont ever here much about the fishing here. Any thoughts on how it compares to the baudette area? Thanks, Jeff

Two of my favorite places on Muskeg Bay are the S. tip of Buffalo, which you can access via Springsteel Resort and Whiskey Flats (it can be tough to get to this one after some of the pressure ridges start to form unless you use one of the guides that uses track vehicles). You can also try 5 mile reef - there is a plowed road from Swift Ditch.

I grew up fishing muskeg bay. never had a bad time!
