Anything happening out of Warroad in Muskeg bay? I will be in Warroad for work next week and we are going to try and get out and do a little fishing. Thanks for any info.

Your best bet right now is closer to the Rainy River as the shiners are starting to get in position to move up the river. Pine Island and the Lighthouse gap have been hitting well. Not sure if you were thinking about bringing your boat or go with a charter. One thing about a charter boat from the resorts is they always know exactly where the fish are and you don't have to worry about rough water if you only have a couple days to fish. There are a bunch or resorts to choose from and most are within 30 minutes of Warroad.

      Table is updated below.  Opening day is likely in jeopardy.  Lots of good dates available for those sitting on the sideline.

      That's ok, got the Bear hunting out of my system years ago.  Still have some good spots on the GPS up in the Arrow head!  Did love me some good greasy bear roasts though!  😋

      Yes, I'm on the West End.  No crappies yet, but I caught a couple of Cisco's and some perch this morning. Been dealing with chores at the cabin since 10 AM, so not much fishing.

      Hard to tell exactly how much snow the way the wind was blowing it around, close to that I'll bet!  3 sleds went by earlier. Brian, are you on the west end? Did you fish?  Catch any crappies?

      I was on the lake this morning. There is still a lot of ice. I went down to the housing on my auger a couple of times.  I'm not sure how much snow we got yesterday and last night but it looks like around 7 to 8 inches at least.
