Classic Fishing Books?

Can you recommend the names of a few good fishing books that are worth reading? I know there are some good, classic books out there that have stood the test of time. General fishing and species specific books would be fine. Thanks.

Easy.

Big Two Hearted River-Hemmingway

River Runs Through it-McClean

Anything by R. Haig Brown

Thy Rod and Thy Creel-Plunkett-Green

most books by Joe Brooks

These were writers who fished.

Most of the books by fishers who write don't amount to much. There ARE some exceptions but they most all involve fly fishing for various species. Bass fishing guys mostly can barely read, let alone write anyting.

He said, ducking and running for cover.
