Question

If you only had enough money to buy an under water camera or a flasher, (I fish year around) which one would you buy?

Flasher hands down, slam dunk, with out a doubt. Allows you to see the whole water column and can be used at any time of the day or night.
I had the same battle in my head a couple years ago and went with an FL-18 and have never looked back.
Dont think the Vex Fl-18 or the Marcum is bad, just make your own choice. Both are solid, nice units.

If your fishing in 30 FOT for suspended crappies how are you going to know what depth to set the camera much less fish at? smile.gif Get the LX3 first then the camera.

waphetonboy,
Good choice, you will love the LX-3. I'm with everyone here, go with the flasher and then the camera.

The VS-560 that Paul mentioned will be the best camera on the market (new panning camera head and lighting system).
