The phone line was terrible this morning but the conversation is interesting because we talked about using only artificial bait in a

competitive event and in every day fishing......Johnnie Candle talks

about the tournament and gives some good tips on how to get these

"fake" baits to work better for you.....\

It's all here on this NCOR podcast

It was a rainy Tuesday but spirits were high as our group headed out on River Bend Charter boats....Other than the wet....it was a great day.

Paul Johnson, from River Bend, is on the NCOR podcast today and we talk about fishing on the big boats.....

The fish are settled in to a nice predictable pattern and will stay that way for several weeks. Joe Henry from LOW Tourism spent the last 4 days on the water and shares all he did and how it worked on this NCOR podcast

I have used artificial baits as 'add ons" for quite a while but really haven't picked it up as they main bait ...yet. Today Johnnie Candle

is on the show and he says, with a few changes in presentation, these

alternatives will preform for you just fine. Get the good news right here on today's NCOR podcast...click the link at the top of this page and good luck

Imaging a 4 day stretch where you get to sample pretty much everything

LOW has to offer. Joe Henry hosted this big time writer and things went about as good or better than you could expect. Listen to Joe Henry on this podcast..

Choose the right presentation for the area you are fishing for the best

possible outcome...Touring Walleye Pro Johnnie Candle is out in Michigan pre fishing for a tournament in what seems to be a shipping channel in the St Mary's River.

The lesson is try to adapt to the presentation that will work best for the conditions and body of water you are fishing on.....find the "A" game

Bummer, always look forward to the show. Curt, does it seem like the number of boats on the water were/are down this year?

I hadn't noticed that there were a noticeable smaller number of boats. The boat landing has been pretty full pretty often?
