What's with the bite?

Recommended Posts

To guides and other river rats... I would wager it is a combination of low flow and low water temps that has delayed the bite. I have fished both pools 2 and 4 a bit this spring and other than small saugers, the bite has been slow, to put it mildly. Your thoughts? Thanks

The bite was non existent for us in the morning using plastics, then we switched to hair and meat and ended up getting around 15 eyes and saugers that would all be good eating size. Biggest was a 21" eye. Excited to see what we can put together tomorrow, they were snapping good in our last spot of the day at dusk.

Bite still wasn't awesome, but it wasn't bad either today. Caught around 10 from 14-22" and most of them were walleyes. It's getting closer, next week it will be on.

Glad to hear its picking up. Timely reports help all of us make our decisions where and when we fish. Keep the reports coming.
