Grease is grease is grease....or is it?

Uncle Grump

Question

Hi all

Any petroleum gurus out there?

I am asking, because I am in the process of putting new hubs on my boat trailer, complete with pre-greased bearings. I also intend to put Bearing Buddies on the hubs as well.

So my question comes to: Can I load up the new hubs via the Buddies with the grease I normally use in my grease gun (Sheaffer's?) which has a high resistance to water, etc and thus mix brands of grease (with whats in the bearings now). Does this make sense?

Thanks

UG

I'd clean the grease thats in your bearings now out then put the schaefers in. Im just assuming your using the black stuff? Its awesome grease, all I use...Went 50k on the first set of bearings on my trailer with schafers, good stuff. Whatever grease you use just make sure you can keep the water out..IE Ditch the bearing buddies and just keep your seals in good condition and use the regular dust caps, pay attention to them and they will run almost forever.. BW is not a designated Trout lake. The limit is the same as state which I think is 5 bows. Don't think there is a size limit either since they don't breed.

Rotes, Hi, I just joined this forum and these corner caps are just what I have been looking for. Is it possible at this late date to get a set of these made for my Lund? The only difference I can see is the color of the material. Would you be willing to make a set for me? Thanks, [email protected]

Any move requires time and effort, but if you turn to a moving company for help, then some of the problems will disappear immediately. Firstly, the guys from the moving services always take care of the client's property, pack and carefully transfer your things to the car. Secondly, when moving with movers, you do not have to worry about the road, they choose the fastest and safest way, as they have extensive experience in transportation.

Anybody know how much the lake temps have dropped?   Are people have the most success with minnows vs crawlers when fishing with live bait lately, or are crawlers still working?

Snuck out last night, water Temps down to 54-56, last Thurs mid 60s. Fish were finicky. Leaves are changing quickly here, lots falling. Two weeks should be a lot better in the woods

I agree with the previous comment, you could save a lot of money by making your website first .. its design .. and then if you want to move .. but if you want, you can immediately ..-) look here: https://digitalsuits.co/hire-developers/hire-shopify-developers/

I think that even at the initial stage, you need to consult with specialists who have been working in this field for a long time .. and then you will really get the result .. otherwise you can spend a lot of time and in the end you will have to redo everything .. for example, look here: https://www.softformance.com/services/software-consulting-company/

The best solution in this situation is to create the software yourself, and then turn to testers who will check everything. Although, if you manage to develop software, then you will have the strength to test it yourself
