I set Joey and his girl friend up ona lake and they saw a monster today but Joey miss with his throw kinda stopped the spear short by grabbing the rope. He said it was bigger than whats on my wall.

Well he has speared a 13 lber and he he said it was a monster compared to that.

I have a 40 incher on the wall that tipped the scale at 191b 14oz.

IMO the fish look smaller in the hole not bigger, but maybe thats just me.

As for showing me up thats fine and dandy as I guided him to the spot. Merk he listens to me when it comes to finding spots to spear. he's been round long enough to know that I know a good spot.

You can't miss if a pike never comes in the hole, oh and to answer your question his spear looks hardly used.

But I tied the rope off short so the spear could not hit bottom if I did need to throw.
