Packers vs Vikings

Peterson is definitely a beast but this game would have been the end of the season if Walsh wasn't hitting his FGs from 50+ IMO.

Can you believe there was people on here saying we don't need another kicker and it was a waste of a pick...MUAHAHAHAHAHHA

I felt Longwell should have been gone 3 years ago. In hindsight, had we not kept him as long as we did, we wouldn't have Walsh right now. For this season anyhow, Walsh has proven his weight in gold. If he can keep this accuracy going he'll be wearing purple for many years.

I hear ya, I felt the same way. Walsh is the 2nd best player on our team right now, well worth a 6th round pick people were whining that we wasted.

I sure hope the Vikings win. ESPN has 12 people picking games and everyone of them is picking the Pack. Sure would be nice to prove them all wrong

they all picked the Pack last week as well. And they all picked Houston. And they all picked Chicago. Now, I also think the Pack will win, but it's been fun to watch MN knock off some very good teams.

Rogers is NOT a cold weather QB. The Pack is a finesse team. There is no way Peterson doens't run all over them again. Winfield is back.

The Vikes win!!!

Rogers is NOT a cold weather QB.

That's the kind of comment Skip Bayless would say...

Rodgers NOT a cold weather QB.....um, since when?

taken from a site from late last year:

"Dating back to 2008, in Aaron Rodgers' past 13 games in weather that featured a temperature below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, the Packers are 12-1.

The cold has shown no signs of stopping the offensive production. In that same span, the offense has put together an average of 382.5 yards per game. They've surpassed 400 yards in five games, and 500 yards once.

In fact, Aaron Rodgers is at his best in the cold. In those 13 games, Rodgers' passer rating is nearly 12 points higher than it is when the weather is warmer than 40 degrees. Nine times has his rating touched triple digits, and five times has it been an incredible 132 or higher.

Rodgers career passing statistics in the cold: 268 completions on 411 attempts, 3,558 yards, 33 touchdowns and only six interceptions. that equates to a passer rating of 113.2."

Just cause of a bad playoff game last year, doesnt make him NOT a cold weather quarterback. And it was against a superb Giants pass rush. The vikings pass rush is not as good as the Giants.

Next week, the Queens could easily beat the Packers, vegas line means nothing.

I guess so.

Looks like Vegas was a little short.

Great season Vikes! You did a whole lot more than ANYONE expected. Your team was respectful and never gave up.

gives the vikes something good going into the off season. a MVP running back, and probally a under rated QB. we need to get a good reciever for next year which we may already have in our top draft pick receiver that did not play a game this year due to injury, forgot his name. get a good trade for harvin, and we may be a very good team next year.

AP for MVP!

I have no idea who will come away the victor but, just seems like the Vikes will send the pack packing.

Cheesheads will cry for a month.

Any one call the coast guard yet? Might have to dredge the bucket of tears!

The Vikes had a great season and the "Packers are VERY LUCKY they got Webb" who hasn't thrown a regular season pass all year instead of Ponder who beat the Pack last time we played.

If it was Rodgers who went down instead of Ponder, the Vikes even with Webb would've put the big hurt on the Pack. laugh

It isn't going to happen. The have really only missed what, one game in the past 20 years by their starting QB? They know how to protect their QB's and it looks like probably another 8 years or more before they miss another game to injury at that spot.

They know how to protec the QB?? Then how come GB has lead in sacks taken, or close to leading the past how many years?
