Bean Lake

Heading up to ATV this weekend and see the colors. Would like to wet a line at Bean Lake along the way. Is this a small hook, angle worm, and split shot approach or something else? Any advice or reports from the area would be appreciated.

That'd work as well as anything else. Concentrate on top 10' of water, in the shade if you can.

Never fished it, but it's a great spot to relax and have some lunch with a nice little fire in the pit.
