SS to Aluminum

Creek Kid

Question

I'm going to buy an aluminum prop to replace my SS. I have a 16.5' Alumacraft Competitor w/a Yammy Pro 60. I'm keeping the SS for a backup and will probably switch to it for big water. I run mostly in the river and bent a shaft last year (NOT in the river ironically!) but I'm a little spooked now. The SS prop that is on there now is 13.5x16. It's a pretty heavy boat and I'm happy with it's performace. 5500-5800 rpm = 38mph. If I switch to an Aluminum prop what would be an exquivalent to the 13.5x16 SS? I'm not much of a boat mechanic and I'm not going to get too excited about losing some speed unless it is a HUGE difference. But I would like to stay as close to what I have as I possibly can. What should I look for to replace it?

I wasn't very clear. No place I've looked can I find a 16 pitch prop. Only 15 or 17. So do I go with a smaller diameter (13, 13.25) or smaller pitch or will the difference in performance from a 13.5x16 to a 13.5x15 or 17 be so minimal that I shouldn't worry about it? I'd like to keep my RPM's where they are at. I know I will lose some speed w/Aluminum so I was hoping someone could give me some advice to go with the 15 or 17 pitch.

It is strange that the developers did not think of such a nuance. In any case, you need to place an ad on the labor exchange, where you will find employees for the company and they will work with you, only you will need to conduct a preliminary interview

Creating an application for such a hotel would be the best option. Place your ad on the job exchange on the Internet, I know a few of these, then you can find developers for yourself and the work will go much easier

You won’t have to search for a long time, rather you will need to choose from the options offered. Look on the Internet for all the available options, such developers usually have their own sites that have all the information you need

I am sure that if you search in the google search engine you will find a company that is dedicated to that, but to be honest I have not much idea, I never planted the idea of something like that, from my ignorance it is very complicated, but maybe someone who have more notion of it can guide you and can even recommend a company with a good reputation that is dedicated exclusively to it, good luck with all that

Haven't really targeted geese, think we've got 3 Ross geese a blue goose and one Canada goose. We focus more on ducks, especially when we can get them in the field. Greater and lesser Canada geese around but they are spread out tons of feeds but no large feeds

Finally got the choirs done. Roofed a shed and built a woodshed. Most done by myself. Now's time to go fishing before the deer season.  Found some crappies tonight, caught 11, missed at least that many. West end. Skunked again, how'd you do, saw you heading out?

The three on top of the pile are geese. Smurfy. 😉   +1 on the decent shooting!  Thanks for the pics.  This was one post that got me to log back in to spam central.   Going dark again….
